Delicato Family Wines Welcomes Alex Ryan as New Independent Director

NAPA, Calif., March 8th, 2024 – Delicato Family Wines, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing family-owned and -operated wineries, announces the appointment of a new Independent Director – industry veteran Alex Ryan, to the Winery’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

With a 35-year tenure at The Duckhorn Portfolio, Alex Ryan has played a pivotal role in elevating it to a premier luxury wine company in North America. Beginning his journey in viticulture after graduating from California State University, Fresno, Alex advanced to key positions, driving Duckhorn’s evolution from a modest venture to a beacon of luxury wine.
His leadership was marked by strategic expansions and launching acclaimed brands, always emphasizing wine quality. Alex’s impactful contribution to the wine industry has been acknowledged with several accolades, including being named among the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the U.S. Wine Industry” and “Wine Executive of the Year.”
